
Audrey Naa Dei Kotey
Audrey Naa Dei Kotey has been the Managing Partner at AudreyGrey since October 2018. She is a qualified and experienced lawyer and as well as a chartered accountant (ACCA). Audrey has the flair in demystifying law, banking, finance and tax. Audrey’s experience includes advising on a wide range of transactions relating to capital markets, acquisitions, finance, regulatory compliance, property and tax. Audrey worked closely with the committee of experts on Ghana’s Companies Act 2019 (Act 992) and the Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency Act, 2020 (Act 1015).
She is an expert in the interpretation of Ghana’s Companies Act 2019 (Act 997) and the Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency law and spearheads advocacy in this area through thought leadership. Audrey serves as the Chair of the Ghana Association of Restructuring and Insolvency Advisors (GARIA) special volunteer team on Technical, Education, Research and Publications and currently assists with implementation of Act 992 and Act 1015.
She is also the Vice Chair of the ACCA Ghana Members Network Panel. Audrey is an experienced corporate trainer and has engaged several Boards on a vast array of Corporate Governance, technical and operational matters. She has worked on several complex liquidations such as those of Ghana Airways Ltd, Plant Pool Ltd as well as several large transaction advisory engagements.
She brings on the GHASALC Board years of experience in corporate governance, compliance, corporate law and taxation as well as expertise in liquidations, insolvency and restructuring.
Until joining AudreyGrey, she worked with law firm N Dowuona & Company, PwC (Gh) Ltd and HSBC Bank, UK.
Audrey holds Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Economics and an LLB from the University of Ghana (Legon) she is a qualified lawyer and member of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA). She is also a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, ACCA (UK), member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG), the Institute of Directors (UK), the International Association of Restructuring and Insolvency Advisors (INSOL) and the Ghana Association of Restructuring and Insolvency Advisors (GARIA).
